This awesome arboreal dwelling is the Living the High Life Tree House created by Blue Forest, a British tree house design and construction firm. It’s a luxury family-sized complex featuring two separate tree houses, one for kids and one for their parents. The elevated dwellings are connected by a network of rope bridges which also lead to an adventure play area and an assault course, the latter of which is also accessible via an 80-yard zip line.

It may look rustic, but this is a top-of-the-line tree house. The kids’ house features three medieval towers, and inside one of them a concealed hatch in the upper floor leads to a secret game room containing a plasma TV and video game console. Meanwhile the grown-ups’ treehouse features a conical thatched roof and interior walls made of hand-split oak shingles and cedar tongue-and-groove boards. Inside there’s a kitchen (complete with plenty of wine storage), bathroom, and a large open living area for treetop entertaining. The complex also features accommodations for guests of the family.

Head over to the Blue Forest website to check out more of their amazing custom-built tree houses.

Ariel still holds a special place in my heart, but if I am honest with myself… I am an Elsa girl.

A FireElsa (AU) rewrite of “In Summer” from Disney’s “Frozen”. This version is sung by a character named Olga, a phoenix created by Elsa, who dreams of experiencing the winter cold.

Kristoff: I guess you don’t have much experience with the cold.

Olga: Nope! But sometimes I like to fold my wings and wonder what it’d be like when winter does come…

Sparkly fuzz
Creating lovely beaches
Soft and white and all because
It’s winter

And think
Of my plan
To experience this cold, wet sand
Called snow… as I understand
In winter

A bird like me will finally ski
Or maybe even board
Unwind by snuggling, bundling up
So cozy and warm

Drinking cider and tea
Hot chocolate and coffee
Warming up when it’s as cool as can be
In winter!

Da da doo
Uh bah bah bah bah bah boo

The fiery and icy elements
Are best enjoyed as complements!

Rat da da da da da
da da da da da da doo

Summer nor spring is the season I’ve chosen
But put me in winter and I’ll become…
A happy phoenix!

One day’s enough to live the life I’ve only dreamed
A refreshing world of winter fun where I’m agleam

To try something new
And you could enjoy it too

I just can’t wait to do
What firebirds do
In winter!

Kristoff: Do you want to build a sno—
Anna: Don’t you dare!

Walt Disney Animation Studios | 1937 - 2014

After seeing this post, I decided to make this. The “Experimental” era is usually referred to as Post-Renaissance. I imagine the Revival is going to continue through this decade. 2015 and beyond films listed are: (left to right) Zootopia, Giants, and Moana.

If you want to read more about each era and how they got their names, click here.
